A friend of mine in involved in a project that has heating tubes set on top the base. The base and heating system are being done by other site contractors. I don't know all the correct terms for these heating systems but the problem is how to work around it when screeding sand. You can't drive on the tubes so spreading sand is slow and difficult. The tubes are approx 3/4" dia and the bedding sand will be 1.5". Has anyone been involved in a similar job and what did they learn from it. Thanks.
