Hello,
Sealing pavers is a new venture for me. We have extensive experience in asphalt maintenance (sealing, repairs, etc) and we are thinking of adding the paver sealing service. I have done a little bit of research and have some concerns and questions if anyone can or cares to help.
Efflo cleaning - sounds a bit frightening. Some of these cleaners can do some serious damage to plants and various materials. Has anyone tried or currently using the masonary cleaner by Environmental Manufacturing Solutions? It is said to be a sythentic acid that does not pose the risk of conventional cleaners. They say it will not kill plants.
Equipment - I dont want to invest big bucks into equipment as we test the waters with this new service, but I dont want to use tray and roller either. Anyone using the portable 12v sprayers or can you suggest any type of sprayer. I imagine the average surface size we would be sealing is around 2500 sq'.
Pricing - I have heard that pricing really depends on the location. They say that florida gets around .60 per sq ' while california is getting near $3.00 for cleaning and sealing. Any input on pricing?
Products - have been looking at techniseal and surebond. Leaning towards techniseal. Any advice?
Thank you!
Rick
