Hi all...

Was wondering if anyone knew the best way to clean pavers? Pressure wash or with just a strong cleaner... Can anyone suggest a top knotch cleaner to remove ground in Dirt and and to enhance color of pavers before sealing?

I have been sealing pavers for over a year now.. am trying to perfect my techniques... are there advantages to using a Hot Water pressure washer or is cold fine.. which is what I have...I have been using a mix of basic detergents and chlorine for cleaning, but this combination has not been successful in removing that tough ground in dirt...
can someone please put there input on how they really bring back to life a Paver driveway of deck?

Whatever you use, never use muriatic acid to clean pavers, it can stain the pavers. Try using Pave Tech's Paver-prep, you need to dilute it before using it so you can control the strength. Use a 3500 psi (cold) pressure washer for the rinse and you'll be set. Hot pressure washers work great for stuff like tire "burnouts".

It's like doing ther dishes. Hot water always gets things cleaner faster. Melts away the grime. I have also been using Techniseals HC cleaner. It is an all around cleaner for pavers.

Poly sand is different than organics, poly is like having a water based sealer stuck to the surface. If the effloresence cleaner isn't too strong and the pressure washer operator knows what he is doing, you shouldn't need to reapply organic joint sands like sandlock (other than possibly a couple of places). A hot pressure washer definately helps.
