Default My Website

Hey everyone...

I just wanted to share with you guys what my website has done for me. I stopped advertising in the phone book and some other types of advertising because my website generates more business than I can handle.

www.twobrothersbrickpaving.com

I had a company that specializes in website design for the hardscape industry. What makes our website generate so much traffic and leads is this companies ability to design a website following Google and Yahoo's strict guidlines so that these search engines know how to index the website exactly where Google and Yahoo searchers look for services and products that the website offers.

If you are interested in having a website from the company just PM me and I will give your their info, and how to get a discount monthly rate (they don't make you pay upfront; you just pay monthly)

I was here when they first started the forum. An employee of PaveTech, Dale, asked me to re-visit the site. Seems like a little more traffic, but not much.

Peace,

Rex

Default New Guy On The Block!

Hello everyone!

Just joined the site and so far im really enjoying it!

I am expanding my landscaping company in Saskatchewan Canada and have a couple questions.

I want to be able to offer my customers paving stone installation, retaining walls, firepits, water fountains, etc. My question for today is how in the heck does one calculate a quote on installation charges and what are you guys doing for product price markup?

Any suggestions on quoting and pricing is greatly appreciated,

Your price calculations depend on what the the market will give you and how fast you can produce a quality finished product. I mark up all materials 30%

Hmm. Been out here a few times, since joining. It's amazing that more folks aren't on the forum. It seems like it's rarely used, and has very little traffic. Most posts are month's if not year's old. Perhaps, everyone's outside working on "trying to make a buck". I won't give up yet.....

Don't give up just yet! I've found a whole bunch of great info, and advice... Getting more into sealing and lighting lately, this forum has been pretty helpful. Not huge traffic yet, but when there is advice, it always seems pretty wise....

Just signed up this morning, Hardscape Forman from Cazenovia Ny.
Currently working for an established company in Caz, also starting up my own little business this summer. Going to be doing some tree work, masonry/hardscape repairs, sealing/cleaning...small stuff like that for now, Can't do any installs just yet, lack of equipment right now.

It doesn't seem like this Forum gets a lot of traffic?
